Chiropractors are holistic
physicians who focus on the inherent recuperative power of the body
to heal itself -without the use of drugs or surgery. Chiropractic is
the branch of the healing arts that deals with structure and
function, and how that relationship affects the preservation and
restoration of overall health.
The most characteristic aspect of
chiropractic is the correction of a subluxated, hypermobile, or
fixed joint by means of making a specific, predetermined adjustment.
The purpose of this correction is to normalize the relationship of
segments and relieve the neurological, muscular, and vascular
disturbances.
